Dr. Erin Michalak, University of British Columbia department of psychiatry associate professor, and Kerry Dennehy, co-creator of the Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation, invite community members to the upcoming HOpe Centre Mental Health Clinical Research Day, Friday, April 24. The free educational program will offer a virtual tour of the new centre, a North Vancouver mental health facility operated by UBC and Vancouver Coastal Health, and is focused on translating mental health research into clinical care. Starting at noon, psychiatrists, clinicians, health professionals, medical residents, students and researchers are welcome to attend sessions at Lions Gate Hospital and listen to a keynote address by the University of Calgary’s Dr. Glenda MacQueen.
