Capilano University business students Saba Hashempour, Anna Nassinovskaia, Dylan Hughes and Matt Konar are among the members of SportGro, a fund and awareness-raising initiative focused on helping provide underprivileged children with access to sports and recreational activities. SportGro is presenting a fundraising skate event, Sunday, Nov. 16, 3-5 p.m. at the West Vancouver Ice Arena, and a raffle, featuring Canucks tickets among other items, with proceeds supporting A4K (Athletics for Kids).
