Catch 122, which launched in 2012 in Vancouver's Gastown, will mark its 10th anniversary with a big move to a brand new location in North Vancouver.

Catch 122, a popular long-time fixture in Vancouver's brunch scene, is packing up and heading across the Burrard Inlet.

The veteran restaurant, which launched in 2012 at 122 West Hastings St, revealed this month their plans to shift operations to a new space in North Vancouver in the Shipyards District.

The new Catch 122 will be located "on the southwest ground floor of the new Promenade Building," details the Lonsdale Avenue website. Specifically, that's the Promenade Quay development, which will have 117 apartment homes plus retail.

Catch 122 will be offering their signature brunch, along with pastries, coffee, and dinner service once they get up and running on the North Shore.

No closing date for the original Gastown location has been announced, however, a Vancouver commercial real estate broker hinted on social media this week that the Hastings Street business had finally sold, so we may learn soon when they'll wrap things up on this side of town.

Catch 122 indicates they hope to open in North Vancouver in the spring or summer of 2022.
