Unity Clothing Inc. has expanded to the North Shore. The new boutique at 108 Victory Ship Way in the Pier redevelopment at the foot of Lonsdale is the second location for owners Lori Simcox and Heidi George. Their first boutique is in Whitehorse, Yukon. The owners celebrated the boutiques opening recently with an evening of informal modelling, refreshments and prize draws. Fifteen per cent of the evenings sales were donated to Pamelas Dogs, a North Vancouver organization that facilitates small dog rescue and adoption. The clothing boutique plans to regularly host invitiation-only shopping nights in partnership with local groups and organizations. The group supplies the guest list and the boutique supplies refreshments and prizes, as well as donating 15 per cent of the events sales to a charity of choice.
