Dr. Kevin Rowan, head of diagnostic imaging, and Lions Gate Hospital Foundation president Judy Savage look over a new state-of-the-art MRI machine, featuring advanced software, allowing for faster, more accurate diagnostic scans, unveiled today at the North Vancouver hosital.
Lions Gate is the first hospital in Canada to employ the latest generation in MRI technology, the GE Signa Explorer, and its purchase was made possible thanks to property management and development company Hollyburn Properties, which donated $1 million to help bring it to the North Shore.
