Sheilagh Simpson, 80, is among the North Shore residents gearing up to participate in next weekend’s Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5k Sunday, June 26. The Deep Cove resident plans to tackle the five-kilometre course and take on the event’s Scotiabank Charity Challenge, raising funds for the Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre.
