West Vancouver resident Val Swannell plans to participate in the Penticton Granfondo today, Sunday, to raise funds for The Parkinson’s Movement, a program of the Parkinson Society B.C. that challenges Parkinson’s patients and their supporters to get active as a means of promoting their own health as well as raising funds to support those similarly impacted by the disease.
