WOULD you pay $420 to erase those dark circles under your eyes?
Luxury skin-care maker La Prairie is banking on it, with the launch next month of its White Caviar Illuminating Eye Cream, available at Holt Renfrew and www. shoplaprairie.com.
The cream contains golden caviar extract to firm skin and features Oligopeptide68, a skin-lightening peptide, along with Swiss garden cress sprout extract to fade spots and vitamin C and licorice root extract to inhibit melanin (the skin's natural pigment). It is also said to reduce undereye puffiness and protect skin against future damage. La Prairie advises using the new product in tandem with its White Caviar Illuminating Eye Serum ($325), which also contains golden caviar extract.
