N. Shore builders lauded

THREE North Shore builders have been recognized for exceptional work at the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association's Ovation Awards.

THREE North Shore builders have been recognized for exceptional work at the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association's Ovation Awards.

North Vancouver-based Econ Group Construction and Development won Best Custom Home ($750,000 to $999,999) for its Cowichan Bay Modern project.

West Vancouver's British Pacific Properties won Best Townhome or Rowhome development (2,000 square feet or more) for its Aerie development.

CCI Renovations in North Vancouver was up for an award for Best Renovation ($300,000 to $499,999) for its Tempest project, but lost out to Delta's Best Builders Ltd.

Peter Simpson, CEO of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association, said British Pacific Properties' Aerie project stood out for its exceptional design and beautiful views. "The North Shore always does well, because of the beautiful location they have to work with," said Simpson.
