IT was quite a day for North Vancouver mortgage broker Alan Brown.
On July 13 at the annual Macdonald Realty Summer Classic, Brown won $10,000 by getting a hole in one. It happened on the par-3 17th hole of Green Acres Golf Club in Richmond. The hole was sponsored by BFL Canada Insurance Services and as well as $10,000, Brown won $2,000 to give to the charity of his choice.
This year's tournament featured 123 participants from offices across the Lower Mainland.
Brown said it was his first-ever hole in one.
