Special Lecture - Private Paradise: Learn about Elsie Reford's lily garden on the Lower St. Lawrence Thursday, April 26, 7: 30 p.m. in the Visitor Centre at VanDusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak St., Vancouver. The gardens' current director Alexander Reford will talk about the development of Les Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens and how they continue to contribute to innovation in horticulture and garden design. A Friends of the Garden Plant Sale will be held Saturday, April 28, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Park & Tilford Gardens, North Vancouver.
