Liquid Gold - Beer and Whisky Festival: The new festival will feature the finest in high quality liquor and premium beer July 27 and 28 at Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops. Participants will attend a beer seminar hosted by The Noble Pig and a whisky seminar. Sun Peaks restaurants will also be offering different specials and events around the pedestrian village. Harmony Arts Festival: During the festival, from Aug. 3 to 12, the Grosvenor Waterfront Lounge in Millennium Park at the foot of 15th Street, West Vancouver will be open until 10: 30 p.m. Best of the West - a wine and culinary tasting will take place Wednesday, Aug. 8, 79 p.m. Guests will be introduced to food and wine from 13 restaurants and wineries on the pier at the foot of 14th Street, West Vancouver. Feast of Fields: Tickets are now on sale for FarmFolk CityFolk's four hour wandering harvest festival and annual fundraising event. Taste the best of B.C. from chefs, farmers, fishers, ranchers, food artisans, vintners, brewers, distillers and other beverage producers from across the province. Feast of Fields highlights the connections between farmer and chef, field and table, and farm folks and city folks in a journey towards a sustainable, local food system. Host farms: Aug. 12, Claremont Ranch Organics, Lake Country; Sept. 9, Golden Ears Cheesecrafters, Maple Ridge and Sept. 16, Alderlea Farm and Cafe, Duncan.
