There will also be a silent auction. Admission: $75. A "Food, Wine, Adventure Dinner" will complement the tasting on Monday, April 30, 6 p.m. at Q4 Ristorante, 2611 West Fourth Ave., Vancouver. Edible Canada Market Dinner Series: Multi course seasonally inspired dinners prepared right in front of your eyes paired with select B.C. and Canadian wine, beer and spirits. Chef Thomas Haas will be featured Wednesday, April 18. Cost: $85. A whiskey dinner with chef Eric Pateman will be featured Thursday, April 26. Cost: $125. Rare Finds - A Feast for the Senses: Ten celebrated Vancouver chefs will create a "rare" feast Saturday, April 21, 7-11 p.m. at Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver Showroom, 1860 Burrard St., Vancouver. Funds from this cocktail party gala event will benefit the Rare Disease Foundation. There will be martinis, food, auction prizes, music and art. Tickets: $150 at www.rarediseasefoundation. org. Grape Juice Wine Auction: A fundraiser for Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland Thursday, April 26, 5: 30-8: 30 p.m. at Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver, 1860 Burrard St., Vancouver. At this fifth annual event, guests will bid on wines from around the world while sampling wines from Marquis Wine Cellars, La Vieux Pin and La Stella Winery, and culinary creations from The Lazy Gourmet. A Japanese Style Bento Box Cooking Class will take place Monday, April 30, 10 a.m.12: 15 p.m. in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver.
