Raise a Glass: Taste premium wines from B.C.'s Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars at two free consumer tastings Thursday, June 7, 4-6 p.m. at Everything Wine, 998 Marine Dr., North Vancouver and Friday, June 8, 4-6 p.m. at Marquis Wine Cellars, 1034 Davie St., Vancouver. Blue Mountain winemaker Matt Mavety will be on hand to share his passion for the wines and their place of origin.

Ocean Wise Dinner: Executive chef Ned Bell at Yew restaurant + bar and the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver have partnered with the Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise program. To support the cause they will serve up an Ocean Wise dinner on Friday, June 8 inspired by the oceans of the world - Indian, Pacific, Atlantic and Southern. Celebrity Chef Cooking Classes: The Arts Club Theatre Company hosts these intimate four-course dinners at private residences throughout Vancouver. The three-hour interactive classes demonstrate professional techniques.
