Kiss the old year goodbye and ring in the new with a New Year's Eve dinner Saturday, Dec. 31 with early seatings at 5: 30 or 6 p.m. and late seatings at 8: 30 or 9 p.m. The dinner will feature a three-course menu for early birds and five courses for the later seating. Chefs' Table Society Book Signing: Join some of Vancouver's top chefs for an exclusive book signing of Vancouver Cooks2, with wine and canapés Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Barbara-Jo's Books to Cooks, 1740 West Second Ave., Vancouver. The collaborative cookbook has recipes from top chefs and top restaurants across British Columbia. A $10 donation to the Chefs' Table Society, benefiting B.C.
