EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival, Canada's largest consumer food show, will take place June 1, 2-9 p.m., June 2, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and June 3, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at BC Place Stadium, 777 Pacific Blvd., Vancouver. There will be celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, culinary competitions, cheese seminars wine, beer and spirits tastings and hundreds of beverage and cooking related exhibits. Admission: $14/$9. Celebrity Chef Cooking Classes: The Arts Club Theatre Company announces its spring 2012 lineup of classes running until July 18. These intimate four-course dinners will be held at private residences throughout Vancouver and give guests the opportunity to discover the latest trends in food and wine. The threehour interactive classes demonstrate professional techniques. Celebrate the Wines of Angelo Gaja: CRU Wine Selections will present an exclusive black tie dinner Tuesday, June 5, 5-11 p.m. at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Star Sapphire Ballroom, 1038 Canada Place. Edible Canada Market Dinner Series: Multi course seasonally inspired dinners prepared right in front of your eyes paired with select B.C. and Canadian wine, beer and spirits. Hart House Summer Garden Parties: Each evening will start with a casual wine tasting with offerings from the featured region. Night at the Aquarium, the signature fundraising gala of the Vancouver Aquarium, will take place Thursday, June 21 at 6: 30 p.m. There will be wine, food, live music and an array of items in live and silent auctions. Tinhorn Creek Vineyards Canadian Concert Series: An annual event with an opportunity to see some of Canada's top talent while sipping award-winning wines and enjoying a view of the South Okanagan Valley at Tinhorn Creek's outdoor amphitheatre. The series will feature up-and-coming Canadian talent every month and ends with a recognized Canadian performer to close the season. On June 23, Acres of Lions will perform and July 28 will see Redeye Empire. Said the Whale caps off the series on Aug. 25.
