Art of Fashion: Wearable Arts Vancouver and Fibre Essences are holding 'The Art of Fashion' as a fund raiser for the Seymour Art Gallery. This event will take place at the Seymour Art Gallery, Artemis Studio Gallery and the Cove Creek Gallery, all on Gallant Street in Deep Cove, on Sunday, April 1st from 2: 00 to 4: 30pm. We are hoping for good weather so people will be able to wander between Galleries. There will be a nice variety of Jewellery, Wearable Fabric Art and accessories for sale in all three locations. We will be serving Tea and Sweets, $5, to the public in the Gallery and the fashion show and sale of garments will be in the Artemis Gallery so it will be a Grand Spring Event. Our Artists will be meeting and looking over the spaces on Tuesday, February 28th at 11: 00 am in the Seymour Art Gallery. If this is a good opportunity for you, we could arrange for a few artists to bring some of their work for a photo op.
