Through the Looking Glass, an exhibition of works in fibre, takes place at the Seymour Art Gallery, now through Sept. 18. The exhibit is presented by the member organizations FibreEssence, The Vancouver Guild of Fibre Arts, and the Greater Vancouver Weavers and Spinners Guild. The gallery is at 4360 Gallant Ave. in the heart of Deep Cove.

Spend on Trend: Vancouver's original fashion market is back to unveil new fall collections before they hit the stores, Sept. 16-18 at Heritage Hall. Shop independent designers like Elroy, Dru's Design, Bronsino, Toodlebunny, Bueno Style, Filou and more. Better still: the first 25 people in line each day receive a stylish swag bag.
