Red Sock Project: Homewares retailer Nood has kicked off its annual Red Sock Project at all its store locations, including Marine Dr., North Vancouver. Share the warmth by donating $2 towards a pair of red socks to be distributed by the Salvation Army to homeless and disadvantaged people in local communities. Make way for holiday fashions by clearing out unwanted clothing and accessories and donating them to the Canadian Diabetes Association's Clothesline program. Making a contribution is as simple as calling 18005055525 and arranging for a free pickup. The program currently picks up donations daily from homes in the North Shore area.
