Thrifty Chic: The Thrift Shop at Mount Seymour United Church (1200 Parkgate Ave., just off Mount Seymour Parkway) is open every Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. New fall fashions have arrived.
Make way for spring fashions by clearing out unwanted clothing and accessories and donating them to the Canadian Diabetes Association's Clothesline program. Making a contribution is as simple as calling 18005055525 and arranging for a free pickup. The program currently picks up donations daily from homes in the North Shore area.
