Lynn Valley’s Gina and Katherine Alpen practise their traditional Ukrainian dance steps in preparation for Malanka (Ukrainian New Year), which will be celebrated Jan. 17, 2015. Community members are invited to participate in dance classes so they’ll be able to dance the night away at a party at the AUUC Ukrainian Cultural Centre.
