EVERYONE loves a beautifully wrapped gift. Especially when the gift is wrapped in an original, homemade manner.

This little wrapping idea is wonderful for both adults and kids.

Make your flowers in varying sizes for a more dramatic effect.

Materials:

Tissue paper or plain (non-patterned) wrapping paper for the flowers Plain wrapping paper (for the large gift) Scissors and tape Glue gun and beads (optional) Pencil

Begin by wrapping your gift in the plain wrap.

To make the flower petals, simply take a piece of your tissue or wrapping paper and fold it in half. Using the fold, draw out half heart shapes in varying sizes. The shapes will look like half of a heart with the fold in the centre.

Take your scissors and cut out each half heart and put aside.

Plan out ahead of time how you would like your flowers to be placed on the upside of the gift.

Once you are satisfied with the look, go ahead and glue them onto the present, working in a circular direction and making sure the folds are all facing the same direction.

If you wish, you can add a small bead in the centre of the flower petals.
