Residents and staff of Sunrise of Lynn Valley, a Sunrise Senior Living community, recently participated in a first responders appreciation event intended to commemorate the anniversary of Sept. 11, by preparing goody bags and baskets, and delivering them to a number of North Vancouver stations and halls, including North Van District Fire Hall No. 1 in Lynn Valley.
