Local youths participate in an invasive plant removal organized by the Lower Mainland Green Team at West Vancouver’s Hay Park Feb. 24. The next green team event will see the organization team up with Friends of Hunter Park, North Shore Streamkeepers and District of North Vancouver for an invasive plants pull and planting Saturday, April 25, 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hunter Park, 3302 Tennyson Cres., North Vancouver. At 11 a.m. Mayor Richard Walton will dedicate the new Donovan Pond fish ladder and plant a commemorative tree. All ages welcome.
