The B.C. SPCA wants yours photos for their upcoming Wildlife-In-Focus photography contest.

Amateur photographers ages 14 and up can snap photos of wildlife that includes free-living birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, insects, feral and domestic animals, and wildlife that are in zoos or rehabilitation facilities. Photos can be shot in locations that range from roadsides, beaches or even backyards.

Prizes will be awarded for the top three photos in two different categories, wild settings and backyard habitats. Applicants can submit photos until Sept. 30.

The contest is a fundraiser for Wild ARC, the B.C. SPCA's wildlife rehabilitation facility on Vancouver Island.
