The Squamish Nation 24th Annual Youth Pow Wow will take place July 8, 7-9: 30 p.m., July 9, 1-9 p.m. and July 10, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Capilano Reserve Park, 100 Capilano Rd., North Vancouver. There will be a traditional salmon barbecue, native arts and crafts and dance competitions.

Sevenfest 2011: A car show of Lotus Seven type cars will take place Saturday, July 9. The cars will gather at 2298 Chapman Way, North Vancouver starting at 11 a.m. and the public is invited to view these unique cars and chat with the owners. At 1 p.m. the cars will depart with stops in Cates Park, Deep Cove and the top of Mount Seymour.
