New hire
North Shore-based Darwin Properties has hired Carla Guerrera as vice-president of planning and community development.
According to a company press release, Guerrera has 15 years of experience in planning and development of more than $600 million in real estate development in Canada. In North Vancouver, she was involved in the redevelopment of a former gas station site on Lonsdale Avenue into the Blue Shore Financial head office.
Guerrera, a North Shore resident, was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 Global Land Use Professional by the Urban Land Institute for 2014.
