Consider nominating it for Aviva Canada's Community Fund, which is offering $1 million to local initiatives across Canada.
Canadians can submit ideas about things they'd like to see happen at a local or national level and members of the public will vote on the ones they are most in favour of.
Last year's B.C. winner was a new playground for Lord Selkirk elementary in Vancouver.
Other possibilities include revitalizing a community centre or supporting an organization.
