Three North Vancouver arts organizations have received a financial boost from the province.
The BC Arts Council recently awarded $1.86 million in grants to 116 artists and arts organizations in B.C. Local recipients include the Capilano Press Society ($16,750), the North Vancouver Museum and Archives Commission ($30,000) and Redshift Music Society ($15,000).
These most recent grants are a result of applications examined by the BC Arts Council's
independent peer-review process between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31.
The funding is part of the $24 million provided to the BC Arts Council by the provincial government to support B.C's arts and culture sector in 2014-15.
