They came, they saw, they shopped—and so did we!
The Marc Cain grand-opening event at Oakridge Centre in Vancouver, co-hosted by VITA on Friday, July 7, 2017, was—if we do say so ourselves—a stylishly smashing success. Guests flowed through the stunning grey, silver, cream and white space all afternoon and evening long, nibbling on smoked salmon-filled, caviar-topped fried fingerling potatoes and silky smooth passion fruit mousse with red currant compote, sipping bubbly and perusing some of the most gorgeous, timeless, no-detail-overlooked clothes we've ever had the pleasure of introducing to this city.
We saw one VIP shopper nab a pair of the most gorgeous pearl-embellished flats, while another snapped up the very same tropically printed silk tunic our EIC was wearing (twinsies!). As for other members of our team: Tori topped her OOTD with the most fetching velvet-banded woollen hat while Julie looked unequivocally polished and profesh in a zebra-striped dress (with pockets!).
Everyone who attended and made a purchase went home happy, a beautiful keepsake scarf (a Marc Cain specialty!) tucked into their gift bags and, undoubtedly, visions of future fashionable additions to their wardrobes dancing in their heads. —Vita Daily
