Anyone hoping to ensure abused and neglected dogs can find a warm spot to flop is welcome to an Aug. 25 fundraiser at Highlands Animal Hospital in Edgemont Village.
The event, which includes a bake sale, silent auction and prize wheel, is intended to top up funding for A Voice 4 Paws Canine Rescue, a charity that helps find homes for injured or surrendered pups.
