As Christmas draws near, young artists are invited to draw Christmas.
Lions Gate Hospital Foundation is looking for a young artist to create a Christmas card inspired by the North Shore.
The winning illustrator will win a $100 Park Royal gift card and their design will be printed on 20,000 cards to raise money for a new medical and surgical centre at LGH.
The contest is open to students between Grades 4 and 12 who live or study on the North Shore.
Local artists Cori Creed and Nancy Boyd are set to judge the contest.
“We’re looking for bright and bold festive designs that represent the North Shore and celebrates the season,” stated a release from LGH.
Designs must fit a five by seven inch template. The artwork must be submitted in a JPEG to [email protected] by midnight on Thursday, Oct. 16.
