Madyson Nahanee, Taneesha Duncan and Alabama Honey Antone are ready for the 27th Annual Squamish Nation Youth Powwow Aug. 29-31 at Capilano Reserve Park, 100 Mathias Rd., West Vancouver. The three-day family event features aboriginal dance competitions, a traditional salmon barbecue, arts and crafts, and more. Grand entry times: Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m.; Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission: $5.
