Smoke billowed overhead as fire passed under the feet of Nowruz celebrators on Tuesday night.
Thousands gathered at Ambleside Park to celebrate Persian New Year with West Vancouver’s annual Chaharshanbeh Suri. Fire Festival attendees were treated to live music, fire jumping and food trucks, kicking of a series of events in the coming weeks.
