Acrylic painter Maya Telford shows off two of her pieces “Beyond the Beyond” and “Cassandra.” Telford’s work, which portrays colourful and symbolic representations of female divinity from various cultures, will be on display at an exhibit entitled Art of the Sacred Feminine, Aug. 11-30 at the Silk Purse Arts Centre, 1570 Argyle Ave., West Vancouver. An opening reception is set for Aug. 11 from 6-8 p.m.
