Volunteer: AIDS Vancouver offers volunteers diverse opportunities to learn, gain new skills and experiences, meet new people and get involved in the community. Volunteer positions range from individual to group positions. Be part of the board of directors, grocery or counseling team, volunteer in the library, to name a few of the many volunteer positions available. For more information visit www.aidsvancouver.org.

Volunteer: The volunteer will integrate participants with physical, mental or cultural challenges into social recreational programs and will also assist the instructor with program delivery.

Driver: Join the Canadian Cancer Society and play a vital role in the volunteer driver program. Volunteers are needed to transport those living with cancer to and from their primary cancer treatments (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, etc.). Individuals are needed to continue the success of the program and truly make a difference in the lives of those living with cancer.

Program mentor/facilitator: The Junior Achievement company program requires an after-school facilitator to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students and help them to develop their understanding of the role of business in our society by creating an enterprise of their own. A three-to fourperson volunteer team works with the students in an afterschool setting.

If you are interested in these or other possible volunteer opportunities, call 604-985-7138. The society is a partner agency of the United Way.
