Bus driver: A volunteer with valid Class 4 license is needed to drive an 18 passenger van for seniors outings. Good knowledge of the Lower Mainland is an asset, but not mandatory. Enjoys the company of seniors.

Session attendant: Volunteer will ensure the smooth running of the sessions/concerts by assisting the performers with their rehearsals and sound checks, liaising with the venue staff and the performers, tracking session attendance on attendance forms and checking for attendee badges at the door. If a person is not wearing a badge, you will need to request they return to the registration desk to acquire one.

Community Policing Centre: Volunteer position has two kinds of duties, one in office work and the other outdoor services. Office work entails front desk reception, answering phones and keeping records of reported crimes or incidents. Outdoor services such as Speedwatch entails being willing and able to provide service to all citizens. Volunteer must demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.

Fish hatchery operations: Volunteers are needed to help maintain the fish hatchery on weekdays or weekends. Duties to include biological sampling, general fish culture, broodstock capture, fish release, fin clipping, fundraising, educational activities and daily hatchery duties. School program assistant: Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre is looking for volunteers to assist naturalists on school programs for elementary and secondary students. Programs have different themes such as rain forests, invertebrates (bugs) and streams. Programs are outside, spring and fall, rain or shine. Help kids explore habitats. The position is available from September to June.
