Nobes, who is a member of non-profit youth development organization 4-H Canada, was at the fair to give an agricultural and livestock demonstration.

In order to facilitate proper safety protocols, this year’s fair was developed as an entirely drive-thru experience due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Events include a reverse parade (carloads of spectators wind through a parade route lined with dancers, puppets and other colourful characters), the fair favourite SuperDogs show reimagined as a 10-minute tail-gate spectacle, and drive-thru agricultural displays featuring barnyard animals, as well as some of the fair food classics you’re likely accustomed to.

The fair is running until Aug. 30  from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
