Xerius Mavalvala, Mackenzie Brooks and Aleko Roumeliotis are among the Lynnmour Elementary intermediate students who created 96 ceramic poppies representing 96 B.C. soldiers killed on the same day – April, 9, 1917 – at Vimy Ridge.
Students made a dog tag with the name, rank and serial number of the soldier killed and attached it to their poppy.
