THE Lionsview Seniors' Planning Society has received two honours for its dedication to supporting seniors on the North Shore.
Hosted by Lionsview, the Seniors Planning Table for the North Shore's recent survey, Seniors Today: Building a Better Tomorrow, identified the needs of more than 1,200 seniors and has provided a model for other seniors planning activities. The society received the 2011 Celebration of Community Award for Seniors from the United Way of the Lower Mainland and the survey received the 2011 Non Profit Project of the Year Award from www. pm-volunteers.org.
