Masha Hajat and her daughter Yasna Mohammadshafiei participate in an activity recently as part of the IPALS literacy program at Properties Family Hub in West Vancouver.
The program is designed for immigrant families with children ages three to five years old, and is funded through Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
