A neighbourhood shredding event that supports Ashley Brear’s Keep on Swimming fundraiser for cancer research takes place Saturday, Aug. 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of St. Clement’s Anglican Church, 3400 Institute Rd., North Vancouver. Cash donations will be accepted with proceeds going to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
