Argyle Secondary student Samantha Young tries out a distracted walking course, which challenges people to walk, talk, and answer questions while texting in order to demonstrate the importance of road safety during a Road Safety Day event held at Argyle May 2.

The North Vancouver RCMP, North Vancouver District Fire and Rescue Services, BC Ambulance, the North Vancouver Community Policing road safety team, and ICBC hosted the event in order to help youth develop strong decision-making skills on the road.
