FOR those collectors who value the art more than the artist, the Anonymous Art Show is looking for painters to colour their canvasses for the November opening.

The CityScape Community Art Space is will host the seventh annual showcase of artistry and anonymity Nov. 24-Dec.17 at 335 Lonsdale Ave., North Vancouver.

Each artist is asked to sign only the back of their canvas.

All paintings are scheduled to be priced at $100, with the proceeds being equally split between the artist and the council. The event is designed to feature emerging and established artists each working in twodimensions on unframed, backstapled canvas.

Each artist can submit up to three pieces, with a guarantee at least one painting will be exhibited, so long as it isn't deemed offensive. Paintings from previous years' exhibitions will not be accepted.

All work must have a title.

Paintings must be submitted completely dry with an arrow on the back of the canvas to indicate the top. Deadline for submissions is Nov. 12.
