Halloween may be over, but the frights are still continuing in North Vancouver. Presentation House Theatre’s haunted house event continues tonight and tomorrow, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. both evenings. Revealing an eerie series of scares, a theatre collective has filled every nook and cranny of the building with innovative creepiness. Tickets: $18-$30

Let the good times roll! The Pop Up Roller Rink held at North Vancouver’s Shipyards Commons continues tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., and then 7:30 to 10 p.m. with a Halloween-themed costume skate party open to the public. Entrance: $15, rentals available on site.

It’s time for the sixth annual Pumpkin Drop, hosted by District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society, at 900 St. Dennis Ave. tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s simple: Bring your pumpkins and drop them from four-storeys high up – try to hit the big target and watch your pumpkin go splat! Firetrucks on location for kids to check out too. Donations accepted.

Kids First Saturdays at Polygon Gallery is happening tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tomorrow’s activity includes a presentation by Wael Shawky, who uses the exploration of film, performance and storytelling to creates video works that look at cultural and artistic identities in different ways. Kids will get to create hinged shadow puppets using cardboard, paper fasteners and wooden dowels.
