Visualize. Visualize! That’s what imagery exercise encourages participants to do – focus on entering relaxed states, not stress over strenuous routines, when working out. A free session on imagery exercise is being offered at Marc’s Madness Dance Studio on Marine Drive May 12 from 2 to 3 p.m., where exercisers can try out simple relaxation and imagery techniques to improve their overall health.
Also, it’s Mother’s Day this weekend! Head on down to the food court at Lonsdale Quay Market and celebrate mom with a complementary cup of tea from Blue Teapot or a cup of coffee from Bean Around the World May 13 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. But most importantly, just spend some time with mom this weekend – regardless of what you decide to do!
