Surrey house littered with bullets after early morning shooting

Police are investigating after an early morning shooting at a house in Surrey, B.C.

Surrey RCMP officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 12300-block of 68th Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Once on scene, police discovered that several shots were fired into the Newton residence, but no one was injured. 

Sgt. Tyler Gillies says officers are speaking with witnesses to obtain further information and canvassing the neighbourhood. 

Police did not say if the shooting was targeted, or if any arrests have been made.
