With just a couple of weeks to go, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation says a ticket worth $1 million dollars has still been unclaimed.

The ticket won on the Sept. 28, 2022, Lotto 6/49 draw, as part of the new Gold Ball Draw. It was sold in Maple Ridge.

"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," says the BCLC.

Someone out there has $1 million coming to them, if they can find their ticket in time.

A Lotto 6/49 ticket worth a million dollars and sold in Maple Ridge in 2022 is going to expire soon. It won the Gold Ball Draw on Sept. 28, 2022, a regular addition to the 6/49.

"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," states the BCLC in a press release.

That means someone has just over a month until their big payday flies away.

"Be sure to check your bags, suitcases and junk drawers," suggests the BCLC.

Where exactly the ticket was purchased is not being released, only that it was bought in Maple Ridge.

The winning Gold Ball Draw number on the winning ticket is 12299795-01.
