According to Indeed, the highest paying jobs in Vancouver right now are most often found in the technology and healthcare sectors.

The report authors comment how Vancouver has one of the largest markets for technology talent in the country and "attracts many big-name technology companies in need of top-tier talent in computer systems, software design, programming and related services to thrive."

Additionally, COVID-19 has forced more people online than ever before, and the software industry searches for top-tier talent to keep all the digital platforms running smoothly.

Jobs in healthcare also top Indeed's list as some of the highest-paying occupations. "With the city grappling with the impact the pandemic has had on its population, we see the need and growing importance of people in this industry to support the community whether it be physically (physiotherapists, registered nurses) or emotionally (social workers)."
