Jean Wilson just won $1,000,000 in a Lotto 6/49 draw.

Jean Wilson is planning a big celebration at Christmas, thanks to some extra cash.

The Pitt Meadows resident just won $1 million in the Nov. 23 Lotto 6/49 draw when the ticket was picked as the Guaranteed Prize winner.

“When I checked my PlayNow.com account I [thought] I had won $1,” says Wilson in a press release. “I didn't realize it said ‘Gold Ball winner of $1 million’ and thought it was just an advertisement and had to call a customer service rep to make sure it was true.”

After calling BCLC she was excited to let her daughters know. Now she's planning a big celebration at Christmas where she'll let her grandkids know.

Along with the Christmas celebration, Wilson plans on buying a Harley Davidson, getting a new car, and sharing the winnings with family.

“It feels surreal and it will provide some financial relief,” she says.

Wilson bought her ticket online via PlayNow.com. So far this year B.C. residents have won more than $108 million from the Lotto 6/49.
